Philippine banking company BDO Unibank and US-based Discover Financial Services have partnered to introduce Diners Club credit cards in the country.
The launch will comprise two variants, Diners Club International Credit Card for millennials and Diners Club Premier Credit Card, targeting the high-end market.
The cards will complement the existing credit card portfolio of BDO, which acquired the rights to become the exclusive issuer of Diners Club cards from Security Bank Corp in 2016.
Cardholders will be able to earn instant miles on all purchases made with the new cards, including travel, entertainment and dining.
Some of the benefits with these cards include double miles on dining, limited free lounge access per year and discounts.
Local cardholders get access to more than 28 million merchants accepting Diners Club cards globally.
