Bitcoin.com has partnered with gift card marketplace eGifter to enable purchase of gift cards using Bitcoin Cash (BCH).
As part of the alliance, customers will be able to buy eGift cards from the Bitcoin.com store. Furthermore, this development is set to launch over the coming weeks. Payment can be made using funds in the Bitcoin.com wallet.
Gift cards across premium food, entertainment and retail brands will be available. The purchased cards will be sent virtually by email or text, or can be printed instantly.
eGifter CEO Tyler Roye said: “Bitcoin.com has a large and growing user base, so eGifter is excited about this new partnership as we are always looking for ways to drive more traffic to the eGifter platform, and more business for our brand partners.”
Bitcoin.com eCommerce manager Blake Moore said: “Creating new ways for our users to spend their Bitcoin Cash on goods and services has been a top priority for us at Bitcoin.com.
“By partnering with eGifter, we have made 300+ eGift cards from leading brands available to our valued users. Our development team has created some real magic in the wallet integration, where it will be possible to spend your existing Bitcoin Cash balance on eGift cards in just a few clicks.”
