Brex, an issuer of corporate card for startups, has partnered with TravelBank to introduce Brex Travel rewards offering focused on travel benefits for its card users.
The new programme enables corporate cardholders to book flights and hotels on the Brex platform. Users can redeem their Brex Rewards points while paying for their business travel.
Startups using Brex corporate card will be able to earn 4x rewards points on bookings made through the new offering.
Brex co-founder and CEO Henrique Dubugras said: “Startup founders travel frequently but don’t have time to research travel options.
“With Brex Travel, we are giving startups access to the same benefits big enterprises experience with traditional corporate cards and expense systems, but with integrated modern technology and relevant features.”
The alliance with TravelBank will provide users with access to airlines and lodging benefits, along with the business travel management platform’s 24/7 concierge team.

By GlobalDataTravelBank CEO Duke Chung said: “Startups have a disadvantage when booking corporate travel, they aren’t booking the volume of flights, hotels, and transportation that large companies do, so they don’t always get the attention they deserve, the perks, and the very best rates.
“With TravelBank and Brex working together, this partnership brings startups even more travel rewards and benefits as they grow.”
Brex unveiled its corporate card for startups in June this year. In October, the fintech raised $125m to further advance the card and to support the launch of its rewards programme.
