BridgeStreet, a technology platform for business travel, has chosen Worldpay as the online payments provider for its EMEA business as it looks to expand its footprint globally.
BridgeStreet said that its partnership with Worldpay will allow its clients to pay in a secure way according to their preferred currencies.
According to BridgeStreet, Worldpay offers adequate set of payment methods to facilitate its expansion in new geographies, offers optimised set-up that leads to high acceptance rates, and fraud systems to prevent charge-backs.
BridgeStreet CEO Sean Worker said: “This partnership is the natural progression of our commitment to delivering a seamless and secure travel experience. The ability for BridgeStreet to be borderless with Worldpay is another step forward for our industry. Business needs to travel, and we’re here to make it easy.”
Worldpay vice president of travel and airlines Thomas Helldorff added: “As the world’s leading payment provider we are committed to being a true partner, not only providing BridgeStreet with a reliable and secure payments platform that accepts over 300 payment types and 126 currencies across the globe but also sharing our deep knowledge and insight of the global travel and payments industry as they enter new markets.”
