UK-based mobile telecommunications provider BT Group has added Barclaycard Payments to its partnership network with an aim to enable the expansion of small businesses across the country.
By joining the network, Barclaycard Payments is expected to provide micro business with various offers in the upcoming year.
Some of the offers involve up to £100 off on the price of the businesses’ EE-operated handset, 2% cashback for clients who use Barclaycard business card to purchase services from BT or from mobile network operator EE and others.
BT’s partnership network is part of its new Enterprise Customer Charter, which includes several initiatives to help enhance businesses in the UK and the public sector, among others.
It aims to serve micro enterprises that employs 0-5 people. The network also seeks to provide a range of services to stakeholders in the fields of broadband, mobile, connected devices and digital marketing.
BT Group small office/home office unit (SoHo) MD Chris Sims said: “We want technology, skills and expertise to be as accessible as possible for small businesses, and our partnerships with Barclaycard and FSB will provide our customers with exclusive offers and benefits across broadband, mobile, digital marketing and connected devices over the coming year.

In June, BT Group rolled out its partnership network, with The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) as the launch partner of the network.
With the latest addition of Barclaycard Payments, FSB members will be able to receive solutions offered by Barclaycard. They can also apply for up to £250 to carry out their own social media and digital advertising drives with the help of BT’s Digital Marketing Hub.
Using AI-driven digital solutions, small businesses are expected to develop and share marketing campaigns across social media platforms quickly.
