Capital One Financial has partnered with loyalty services provider Ascenda to add a frequent traveller rewards programme to its Venture credit cards from December this year.
Venture, VentureOne, Spark, Miles and Spark, and Miles Select cardholders will be able to transfer their miles to 13 frequent traveller programmes using Ascenda’s TransferConnect loyalty currency network.

The partners plan to include additional programmes next year under the latest Capital One travel rewards offerings.
Capital One managing vice-president of rewards and spend strategy Manan Mahadevia said: “We are excited to partner with Ascenda to give our Venture and Spark cardholders the flexibility to transfer their Capital One miles to leading travel programmes.
“This complements and builds on our growing suite of travel rewards cards and travel benefits, which make our products even more valuable and flexible. We also look forward to working with Ascenda to add more travel partners in the future.”
Ascenda offers a variety of frequent traveller programmes and real-time transfers to financial services and travel brands. The company also enables activation of new transfer partners in the future.
The latest alliance for new Capital One travel rewards offerings leverages Ascenda’s global network, including its footprint in North America.
