Capital Prepaid Services has introduced mobile check cashing feature for its BlazePays Visa Prepaid Card, which will enable cardholders to cash checks to their BlazePays Prepaid Card from almost anywhere.

BlazePays cardholders will be able to take a picture of a check through a smartphone, and load the funds to their card in minutes for a fee of 1% or 4% of the check value, with a minimum of $5 in case the check is approved.

At the same time, cardholders can also opt to wait for ten days to access their funds free of charge, if the check is not returned unpaid within ten days.

The BlazePays Card can be used with or as a replacement for a checking account or credit card. It helps cardholders track spending and thereby control overspending, and can be used anywhere where Visa debit cards are accepted.

The BlazePays mobile check cashing feature is offered via the Ingo Money mobile app, which can be used by cardholders to cash checks, ranging from $5 to $2,500, to their BlazePays Card.

Capital Prepaid president Jay Kurian said: "Our goal is to make the BlazePays Card the most convenient and economical payment tool for consumers.
