
CellPoint Digital, a fintech company specialising in payment orchestration, has announced a partnership with Checkout.com, a provider of payment solutions.
The partnership combines Checkout.com’s expertise in global acquiring, digital payment processing, and AI-driven transaction optimisation with CellPoint Digital’s Payment Orchestration Platform.
This integration offers merchants the flexibility to adapt to market demands, minimise costs, and enhance approval rates.
The solution is expected to go live in June 2025 and aims to equip travel merchants with enhanced payment performance, global reach, agility, scalability, and transparent pricing, along with dedicated support.
The new partnership claims to deliver AI-powered optimisation to increase approval rates and reduce declines.
Travel merchants will gain access to over 168 alternative payment methods (APMs), local acquiring options, and Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) solutions through a single integration, enhancing their global reach.
Checkout.com’s expertise in fraud prevention and digital payment processing is claimed to reduce complexity for merchants significantly.
This collaboration will accelerate time-to-market and improve overall payment performance, providing agility and simplification to the payment process, stated CellPoint Digital..
The scalable nature of the partnership allows businesses to accept payments online through fast-start methods or fully customised integrations, ensuring a “seamless user experience”.
Moreover, merchants will benefit from Checkout.com’s white-glove service and clear, predictable pricing structures, offering transparent pricing and dedicated support.
CellPoint Digital stated the collaboration will allow travel brands to ‘streamline” payment complexity, optimise conversion rates, and provide a seamless payment experience via a single, AI-driven integration.
