Chase has partnered with on-demand food platform DoorDash to offer benefits for Sapphire, Freedom, and Slate cardmembers.

Under the agreement, the holders of the aforesaid cards can avail complimentary subscriptions for DashPass, the subscription service of DoorDash.

Using DashPass, the cardmembers can get unlimited zero delivery fees and reduced service fees while making orders of at least $12 from select restaurants.

The benefits for Chase Sapphire Reserve and Preferred cardmembers are complimentary DashPass worth more than $100 for at least a year.

In case of Chase Freedom, Freedom Unlimited, Freedom Student and Slate cardmembers, a complimentary DashPass will be provided for three months initially. For the next nine months, these cardmembers will get a 50% discount price.

However, access to these benefits requires the addition of one eligible Chase credit card in the DoorDash app as the default payment.

Chase Branded Cards president Catherine Hogan said: “Across Chase branded cards, we’ve seen spending with food delivery more than double in the last year, and the majority of those cardmembers are ordering-in on average at least one time per month.

“We’re excited to team up with DoorDash to bring their industry-leading selection of restaurants to our cardmembers with an added perk to make dining in more rewarding.”

DashPass, which was introduced in August 2018, offers access to The Cheesecake Factory, Burger King, and Chipotle, among others.
