Chase Pay, the digital wallet service of JPMorgan Chase, has entered into a partnership with movie ticketing platform Atom Tickets to integrate its seamless payment process in early 2017.

Under the partnership, Atom Tickets’ customers will be able to use Chase Pay in the Atom Ticket app and website to pay for tickets and pre-order concessions from over 15,000 US screens, and purchase movie-related merchandise.

Atom Ticket app will also allow moviegoers coordinate movie outings with friends while allowing each person to pay separately.

Chase Commerce Solutions executive director Teresa Walker said: “Atom Tickets has created an entertainment platform that’s valuable and engaging. By combining that with Chase Pay’s seamless payment process, we will give customers an experience that’ll be easy to use again and again.”

Atom Tickets CEO and co-founder Ameesh Paleja said: “Our number one goal is always convenience, and that includes letting users pay how they want. Atom is the only movie ticketing platform that allows users to plan a movie night with friends and pay separately, and Chase Pay brings it all together as the preferred method of payment.”

Atom Tickets executive chairman and co-founder Matthew Bakal said: “This is perfect collaboration to deliver a mobile-first experience because we are combining our drive to transform the moviegoing experience with Chase’s payment innovation.”
