Chase and Southwest Airlines have collaborated to launch the new Southwest Rapid Rewards Priority Credit Card with more anniversary points and new features for inflight savings.
The card benefits include 7,500 anniversary points, up to four upgraded boardings annually, and 20% back on inflight purchases.
In addition, the card comes with benefits of the existing Southwest Rapid Rewards Premier Credit Card, including reward points on transactions at Southwest Airlines and Rapid Rewards hotel and car rental partners.
Cardholders will be able to earn unlimited points, along with qualifying points towards A-List and A-List preferred status, and Companion Pass.
Additional benefits include zero foreign transaction fees and no expiration of points. Also, customers will have no restrictions on blackout dates or seats during redemption of the points.
Chase co-brand cards president Leslie Gillin said: “Our Southwest cardmembers told us they wanted faster boarding and inflight benefits, so we added brand new features to make them a priority both in the air, and on the ground.”
