Parkland Fuel has selected CIBC to introduce rewards and customer loyalty programme, called JOURNIE, for its customers in Canada.
The JOURNIE loyalty programme is intended to provide fuel savings and merchandise offers.
As part of the programme, CIBC credit and debit cardholders will be able to avail fuel savings at select locations while making card payments.
Following a broader roll-out of the service early next year, the fuel savings feature will be applicable at Parkland’s network of around 1,300 Chevron, Ultramar, Pioneer and Fas Gas sites.
Cardholders will also receive JOURNIE Rewards along with their CIBC credit card rewards.
Parkland Fuel senior vice president of Strategic Marketing and Innovation Ian White said: “By connecting our national network of fuel retail sites and On the Run and Marché Express convenience stores under a single proprietary rewards programme with compelling fuel and merchandise offers, we are creating a powerful customer loyalty offer with nationwide scale.”
