Citi has introduced an in-app replacement credit card tracker that allows its credit cardholders to track the steps of their replacement card delivery in real-time.
As a part of the Citi Mobile App, the new mobile status tracker is available for both iPhone and Android smartphone users. Additionally, users can track their replacement card delivery through Citi Online.
The app provides the status of their cards in instances of natural reissuance (card expired and chip upgrade), during product conversions, or if it’s been lost, stolen, or damaged.
Now, Citi customers can monitor when their replacement card was processed and its expected arrival. They will also be able to track the package if it has been dispatched through courier FedEx. Ultimately, customers will be able to activate their card through the tracker.
The launch of credit card tracker follows the recent introduction of Citi Quick Lock, which is a new functionality that enables Citi customers to ‘lock’ their account with a simple tap or click within Citi Online or the Citi Mobile App.
Citi chief customer and digital experience officer for global cards and consumer services Alice Milligan said: “As we redesign the banking experience to be increasingly in the palms of our cardmembers’ hands, Citi is quickly creating simple, next-gen solutions for our customers’ banking needs.
