Citigroup is expanding its Global Transaction
Services unit across eight new countries.

Citigroup’s cross-border payment solution,
WorldLink Payment Services, will now be available to a new suite of
countries, increasing the availability of the Automated Clearing
House (ACH) to 29 countries.

WorldLink solution is a non-account-based
product, offering multi-currency payment solutions for
corporations, financial institutions and public entities.

Payment Services at Citi, said that Citi was registering increasing
client requirements for a larger focus on local currency payments,
especially in emerging and developing markets. 

WorldLink suite of countries for the ACH
offering now include Brazil, Dominican Republic, Israel, Jamaica,
Morocco, South Africa, Trinidad & Tobago and Tunisia.
