Clear2Pay, a technology provider for electronic payments, has acquired Jware Technologies to enhance its eCommerce and mobile payment solutions.

Jware’s solutions will be integrated with Clear2Pay’s existing Open Payment Framework.

Michel Akkermans, chairman and CEO of Clear2Pay said: “Payments through eCommerce shops and mobile devices are increasing and as such form an important channel component in the wider payment space, which we address with our Open Payment Framework.”

“Jware’s technology will therefore enrich our offering around eCommerce, card-based applications and mobile payments as part of our Open Payment Framework.”

Jware develops and sells solutions to banks, financial institutions, retailers and payment processors in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. It will become branded as Clear2Pay as part of the deal.
