
Mobile technology company, CloudZync has launched is to launch a mobile wallet app, Zync Wallet.
CloudZync also claims that soon the wallet will be able to store users’ loyalty cards and vouchers, and be able to share their location and shopping history through social media.
A unique selling point according to CloudZync is greater security compared to other mobile wallets that use NFC.
Users never have to share card or bank details, no matter where a transaction is made.
Furthermore, the mobile wallet is not linked to the customer’s bank account but a Zync account, and photo ID is required to make purchases.
Zync Wallet will be available on iOS and Windows Phone by the end of summer 2013 and will eventually be rolled out to Android.
