US-based virtual cards issuer Comdata has renewed its alliance with Infintech, a merchant services company, to support ePayables vendor enrollment.

Infintech offers a range services to Comdata clients and their vendors to help improve their ability to accept virtual credit cards for payment.

The move is expected to expand the number of vendors accepting Comdata virtual cards from the current 8,000. Maximising enrolment can aid cost savings, less paper checks and more rebate revenue.

Comdata vice-president of product and strategy Meitra Aycock said: “We have industry data that shows we are able to enrol nearly three-times the vendors for virtual card payments for our clients compared to the market average.

“We have an expert internal enrollment team, plus multiple proprietary services and technologies that allow us to do that – keeping Infintech as a partner is critical to maintaining that strength.”

Infintech CEO Ryan Rybolt said: “We’re eager to continue working with Comdata’s clients and their suppliers to make accepting card payments easier and less expensive.

“Our two companies share a common culture around innovation and we’ve jointly developed solutions that are making life better for payables and receivables teams all over the country.”
