German payments service provider Concardis has launched a new payment platform called Concardis Payengine for e- and m-commerce marketplace.
The newly launched platform will allow merchants to keep an eye on their payment transactions with real-time review.
Concardis vice president of eCommerce Competence Center Christoph Jung said: “In doing so, the new Concardis Payengine simplifies, among other things, the process of accepting payments in advance and via invoice.”
Apart from real-time review, the platform also delivers advanced mobile payment functions for online sales, the company noted.
Concardis Payengine features an interface software that facilitates seamless in-app payment by integrating all common payment methods in mobile applications.
“The new Payengine marks the first time that the various rules of the individual payment methods have been brought together into a single and uniform structure. We make them available to merchants and developers via a RESTful API, which greatly reduces complexity and simplifies the interfaces with downstream service providers,” Jung added.
Concardis CEO Marcus Mosen said: “With the new Concardis Payengine, we have developed a platform whose technical architecture is entirely designed with a view to the future of payment. It is flexible and grows along with our customers’ businesses.
“Our e-commerce solution is part of our rapid growth to the leading full-service payment service provider in German-speaking Europe. We want to offer clever solutions across all sectors that increase the added value for our customers.”
The company said that it intends to have short intervals between update releases for the new platform. Payengine is expected to be integrated to Concardis’ own POS network by 2018.
