Business-to-business (B2B) data interchange
firm Crossgate has signed a deal with the IKB Leasing Group (IKB)
for e-invoicing.

The agreement will allow IKB to send
electronic invoices to its customers via Crossgate’s Business Ready
Network, lowering their processing costs and speeding up the
exchange of invoice data.

Crossgate’s service works by allowing IKB’s
outgoing invoices to be sent as a signed PDF document via a
transaction network.

The invoices are stored in the e-box, a
multilingual archive. Alternatively, business partners of IKB can
select to have their invoices sent as electronic data interchange
(EDI) records to their in-house enterprise resource planning (ERP)
system.

Jürgen Glasmeyer, application manager IT of
the IKB Leasing Group said:

“True to our company’s international
orientation, we wanted an e-invoicing-solution that not only
perfectly meets country-specific legal requirements from the start,
but one that could also take into account our partners’ various IT
requirements.”
