Cryptanite Blockchain Technologies, a Colorado-based blockchain firm offering peer-to-peer payment systems, has launched a beta version of its new payments app called ChargaCard.

Cryptanite said that the new app will allow businesses to recover due invoices, while offering customers payment plans at zero percent interest rates.

“ChargaCard’s secure network will offer alternative financing options intended to bypass expensive third-party financial institutions and predatory credit card firms,” Cryptanite said.

The app will be trialled till 1 May 2018 with select small businesses, which have customers requiring support with due bills. The company plans to launch the app in select US states.

ChargaCard co-founder Maria Eagleton said: “ChargaCard’s philosophy is simple: we want to help the millions of Americans who have been prevented from seeking legal or professional services because of low credit scores, while creating a sustained and healthy revenue stream for small businesses who would otherwise not be able to work with these clients because of the perceived risk.”
