US-based mobile technology provider for the corporate travel sector Deem has collaborated with Conferma Pay to introduce its first virtual payment programme.

Through the latest partnership, corporations will be able to pay for travel spend such as hotel bookings and airfare using virtual payment solutions.

The aim is to address security concerns more effectively.

Conferma Pay is connected to over 500 travel management firms and major card schemes.

Deem SVP of business development and strategy Todd Kaiser said: “They are the leader in the travel space and widely adopted by our global customers.

“Our travelers are going to love the convenience and reliability of this programme as we roll it out across all of our booking surfaces and inventory types.”

Available for hotel content across all GDS with direct integration to Conferma Pay, the programme enables custom PNR remarks using Deem’s PNR Editor feature.

Customers can gain access to the functionality from the third quarter of this year.

Conferma Pay director of strategic relationships Paul Raymond said: “Together, we believe we can achieve great success in the corporate travel sector.

“We want to support corporations by enabling them to cut costs through more efficient administrative processes. With Conferma Pay’s virtual payment technology, customers benefit from a holistic and detailed, automated reporting system accounting for every single transaction.

“This achieves greater efficiencies, tighter controls, heightened security and avoids laborious manual tasks to create a complete cost-effective solution.”

Earlier this year, UATP- a global payment solution owned by the world’s airlines- tapped Conferma Pay to support virtual card payments for airlines.
