California-based fintech startup Deserve has launched its Digital First Card on Mastercard network to provide mobile first experience to customers.
This platform will power mobile cards for major co-brand partners, affinity groups, and corporations that plan to provide a seamless credit card experience for customers.
Certified by Mastercard, Digital First Card offers a comprehensive digital card experience on smartphones and instant access to the card, enhanced payment experience and card controls without compromising security and authentication protocols.
The solution is currently available in the Apple store and is expected to be launched in Android App store soon.
Deserve CEO and co-founder Kalpesh Kapadia said: “We created the smartest credit card experience that’s ever been offered to consumers. Deserve and partners can use this groundbreaking platform to power a revolutionary new credit card experience for their users.”
In view of the digital and mobile consumers, Deserve claims to have rebuilt the credit card journey right from application and onboarding to spending, earning and redeeming rewards, making payments and reporting card related issues such as lost/stolen or transaction disputes.

By GlobalDataThe company’s onboarding flow provides robust identity verification and credit underwriting. It enables consumers to activate the card and use it instantaneously once approved.
Deserve’s solution is based on API technology, which uses metadata and geolocation to offer merchant’s accurate location, time of purchase, photos of establishment, contact information in a user-friendly fashion.
“Credit cards are no longer just a piece of plastic that spit out hard-to-read monthly statements and dense paper reports. You might leave your wallet at home, but you always have your phone,” Kapadia added.
The company’s credit card partners can also customise their rewards programme to incentivise on-time payments, purchases in specific categories and other actions that can be digitally captured via APIs.
