Dhaka Bank, a private commercial bank based in Bangladesh, has launched a contactless credit card, in partnership with Mastercard.
The latest offering, called Mastercard Titanium Contactless Credit card, will use contactless technology to expedite payment processes as well as bolster security of card payments.
The technology will enable cardholders to complete payments for their purchases by tapping the card in front of a card-reader or POS terminal.
Customers can also opt for One Time Password (OTP) while carrying out e-commerce transactions, a step to further strengthen payment security.
The cardholders will also receive a range of benefits and services with the contactless card.
Among the benefits include cashback, 24/7 helpline service and an insurance protection for the cardholders, reported The Financial Express Bangladesh.
