Payments management software provider Direct
Debit has teamed up with payment processing company WorldPay to
create a single ‘comprehensive’  payment platform, aimed at
slashing payment costs for businesses.

The partnership adds a module to Direct
Debit’s existing PayCentre platform, where it processes
one-off recurring payments via WorldPay’s Corporate Gateway
Service.

The module is also claimed to streamline
payments processes and, combined with PayCentre’s existing modules,
provide an overview of cash flow to consumers.

“Through this partnership we’ve created a
combined solution which meets the requirements of customers with a
range of payments and collections needs,” said Gabriel Hopkins,
head of e-commerce products at WorldPay

“We are now able to offer our mutual customers
a rich service that capitalises on the strengths of both WorldPay
and PayCentre.”

The new module comes as a means to provide a
single point-of-access information resource for businesses.
