Dynamics, a developer of advanced payment platforms, has unveiled its new connected payment card, dubbed Wallet Card, at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

Wallet Card is designed as a single platform for debit, credit, pre-paid, multicurrency, one-time use or loyalty cards, which can be accessed with the tap of a button.

Described as a complete telecommunications platform, the new Internet of Things (IoT) card is similar to a standard credit or debit card in shape and size, and contains around 200 internal components.

Wallet Card is embedded with a cell phone chip and antenna to facilitate data transfer with bank, while a battery and organic recharging chip ensure auto-recharge during normal operation.

It also contains card-programmable magnetic stripe, EMV chip and a contactless chip, along with a 65,000 pixel display and user interface to enable switch between various cards.

Dynamics CEO Jeffrey Mullen said: “Wallet Card is poised to redefine the way consumers and businesses think of credit cards and enable a close, more secure connection.”

The firm unveiled the new payment card in partnership with the members of the Wallet Card Consortium that comprises banks, payments networks and carriers such as Visa, Mastercard, JCB, IndusInd, Emirate NBD and Softbank/Sprint.
