eGiftAfrica, part of loyalty and gift card network Giift.com, has launched its services in Nairobi, Kenya, and has unveiled plans to expand across Africa in the coming months.
The new move will enable consumers to buy an electronic gift card or voucher from their mobile device and email it to friends and family within seconds.
It will also help retailers sell gift vouchers and cards straight from their web sites, and they can be bought from anywhere across the globe.
Giift president Laurent Xatart and eGiftAfrica CEO Sharouk Jiwa Jiwa said: "We are confident that eGiftAfrica will create value for the African market, for retailers and consumers alike. We have big plans for Africa — and we want to put Africa on the retail map."
