Credit card service company Euronet Worldwide has unveiled plans to offer transaction processing services to Amazon India.
The services will be offered via Euronet’s REV Payments Cloud. It will support the addition of mobile recharges, bill payments, gift cards, consumer software, among others, to the e-commerce platform.
At the same time, Euronet will offer technology integration as well as reconciliation services for onboarding new billers and merchants.
Euronet India and South Asia chief business officer Pranay Jhaveri said: “We are eager to enable Amazon to quickly and easily add new billers and services for its customers.
“We believe this partnership will empower millions of Amazon customers to securely pay and consume existing and new categories of services.”
The result of this integration is an LPG cylinder booking category on the e-commerce site. More new categories are in the pipeline.
