Everest Bank (EBL) has partnered with money transfer firm Best Remit to deliver remittance payment received through its online money transfer solution Everest Remit.
The Nepal-based lender is currently offering the service through its web based product, Everest Remit, which is available to the Nepalese who are working in the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Malaysia, the UK, the US, Japan and Korea.

By GlobalDataEBL also plans to extend its money transfer services to other corridors in due course.
The lender has partnered with various foreign banks/agencies, including EZ Remit, Xpress Money Transfer, MoneyGram, Western Union Money Transfer and Cash Express to facilitate inward remittance and foreign trade.
EBL said: “These arrangements have facilitated the Bank for inward remittance from worldwide. Similarly, Bank is receiving remittance from India through its Joint Venture partner Punjab National Bank’s product INREMIT (INDO Nepal Remittance).
“Under this facility customer can instantly remit money from Punjab National Bank (PNB) India to EBL through any branch of PNB or Mobile/Internet Banking Facility of PNB and through Business Correspondent locations of PNB.”
EBL currently offers banking services through its domestic network of 60 branches, six extension counters, 25 revenue collection counters, 86 ATMs and nearly 5000 payout agents/business correspondents across the country.
