First Atlantic Commerce (FAC), a Bermuda-based online payments technology firm, has expanded its online card processing services across Central America.

FAC said it integrated to a new processor in the region to offers its payment platforms to merchants and banks in Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and Nicaragua.

The Level 1 PCI compliant payment gateway said merchants can conduct online credit card processing and settlement in various Central American currencies including Costa Rican Colones, Honduran Lempira, Guatemalan Quetzal, Nicaraguan Cordoba and Panamanian Balboa.

Following the latest expansion, the company’s offering is now available in Europe, Mauritius, the US, Canada, Panama, Bermuda and across the Caribbean.
