FreedomPay, which specialises in commerce technologies, has joined forces with fintech firm SumUp to enhance services for retail and hospitality merchants globally.
The partnership will provide a payment system with offline capabilities even for remote merchants, along with hardware and infrastructure for businesses of all sizes.
Merchants can access a payment processing service from a single provider, regardless of location.
The partnership promises various benefits for merchants and consumers such as “ease of use”, “transparent pricing” with “no hidden fees”, adherence to security frameworks, and data protection for payments.
FreedomPay global business development SVP Kevin Carson: “By working with SumUp, we are now enabling a system that provides best-in-class payments, data, and security functionality to some of the leading brands across the globe. We’re creating a powerful ecosystem that will not only empower merchants with industry leading commerce technology, but also provide a seamless and personalised customer experience.”
SumUp commercial lead Joey Oliver: “At SumUp, we are dedicated to empowering merchants with payment solutions that are as straightforward as they are secure. With FreedomPay as our partner, we’re advancing our commitment to making top-tier payment technology accessible and effective for every business.”
SumUp integrates payment processing, financial services, and business management into a unified platform.
FreedomPay provides a commerce platform integrating payments, security, loyalty, and advertising for businesses.
It provides solutions for enterprises across borders, industries, point-of-sale systems, and merchant service providers.
