GlobalOnePay, a payment processing technologies provider, has launched an EMV-ready card reader app.
The app will enable on-the-go acceptance of both debit and credit cards.
The GlobalOnePay Mobile supports chip and PIN, magstripe, chip and sign, and manual card use.
The payment solution can be wirelessly linked to hardware card readers through Bluetooth in order to securely accept digital payments.
Some of its applications include payments to small businesses such as taxis, contractors, home-based merchants, independent stylists, landscapers and towing companies.
GlobalOnePay Mobile can also be used in-store during busy business days or when the set up of a countertop point-of-sale (PoS) terminal is not feasible.
