Globe Telecom has unveiled a new m-payment app for GCash, its
money transfer service at the Mobile World Congress in
Barcelona.
The company has announced that the iOS app is compatible with
iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices and the app is going to be
available this March.

It can be downloaded from Apple’s iTunes Store and is free of
charge.
The app will enable users to transfer money, purchase airtime
credits or pay utility bills.
The GCash app has a touch-based interface in which the user logs
in by typing in the mobile number and mobile PIN, the company
said.
Globe Telecom announced that the new app also permit users to
send money to Facebook Mobile Money accounts.
