High Payment Solutions (Hi-Pay) has teamed up with ACI Worldwide to launch a payments gateway service in Mongolia.
Under the partnership, Hi-Pay opted for various ACI solutions.

These include ACI’s UP eCommerce Payments solution with its integrated secure payments gateway and ability to address fraud issues.
Hi-Pay also selected ACI’s UP Real-Time Payments solution.
The solution is said to enable Hi-Pay link to real-time payment schemes in the broader region.
The solution will also help the company respond to upgrades in the payments infrastructure in the home market, noted ACI.
ACI managing director – Asia Leslie Choo said: “ACI’s extensive global network of payment endpoints gives Hi-Pay the technical connectivity and the adaptability needed to evolve with its market, easily adding relevant payment methods in the future.”
Hi-Pay is said to get the solutions to power its own mobile wallet in the home market using the open payments architecture of ACI.
The technology of ACI enables Hi-Pay connect to global card schemes and payment methods.
The partnership is said to offer a globally compatible payments system in Mongolia.
The country hitherto relied only on the domestic T-Card bank network.
Hi-Pay will now also support alternative payment methods including Alipay and WeChat Pay.
The methods can be accessed through its own mobile wallet and merchant loyalty scheme.
