Canada-based iBank Digital has collaborated with artist Cao Jun to launch limited edition digital gift cards.
Dubbed, iBank XPass the card was designed by a Chinese Artist called Jun. Living in the US, Jun was hired by iBank Digital and Art Impact Foundation to develop the limited edition of 10,000 digital gift cards.
The designs of the card are based on three of Jun’s paintings. These are ‘Purple Pavilion and Cyan Cloud’, ‘Once in a Millennium’ and ‘Spring’s News’. Furthermore, Pundi X and IOST Blockchain power the designs.
The newly launched crypto debit card can be used in over 25 countries. These include the US, the UK, Spain, Singapore, Canada, Germany, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan and also Australia.
iBank Digital managing director David Yoo said: “We are very excited to announce this collaboration in the blockchain space with the renowned artist Cao Jun.
“This partnership signifies a major movement into the world of distributed ledger technology for the fine arts industry and an acceptance by the market that ownership of rare collectibles can be represented and transacted via blockchain technology.”

iBank Digital will also donate 1000 gift cards to Cao Jun’s art fans.
Concurrently, iBank Digital also launched a blockchain platform to collateralise rare collectibles onto the IOST blockchain.
