ICICI Bank has launched new capabilities on its digital point-of-sale (PoS) application Eazypay which will allow collection of payments through various digital modes.
Used by merchants, retailers or professionals, the app supports multiple modes such as Unified Payment Interface (UPI), credit and debit card, internet banking, Aadhaar Pay, Bharat QR Code and PocketsbyICICIBank wallet.
The newly added features will facilitate barcode scanning to raise invoices along with tracking of inventory and products sold to customers on credit.
In addition, users can draw insights on sales trends through an in-built dashboard and can instantly, digitally apply for a card-swipe machine without the need for visiting a bank.
The app can now also be used simultaneously by different employees to collect payments at different corners in the same store or its branches, as well as ‘on-the-go’ during home deliveries.
ICICI Bank executive director Anup Bagchi said: “The ‘all-new-Eazypay’ is a result of further extensive research and offers a host of services with many industry-first features including instant and paperless application for card-swipe machine and bar code scanning for instant invoicing.
