Indian private sector lender ICICI Bank has launched instant credit card service which will allow the bank’s savings account customers to get a credit card instantly.
The new service will enable its customers to get credit card number and other required details online, through which they can shop online without having to wait for the physical card arrival.
Based on pre-checked bureau scores, customers can get a credit card with a credit limit of up to INR400,000 ($6,254).
An additional level of authentication has been included in order to make the offering secure. Customers will receive their physical credit card within few working days.
Currently, the customers can use this facility through the bank’s internet banking platform and will be available on the bank’s mobile banking application, iMobile in some time.
