Imperial Bank and Arsenal Football Club are launching a co-branded debit card in Kenya and Uganda.

The bank is hoping to build on Arsenal’s fan base in Africa by offering incentives such as official merchandise and tickets to games at Emirates Stadium.

Abdulmalek Janmohamed, group managing director at Imperial Bank, said: "We are excited about this partnership. Imperial Bank and Arsenal share similar values when it comes to integrity, financial sustainability and independence.

As part of the partnership deal, Arsenal Soccer School Coaches will run coaching clinics in Kenya and Uganda on behalf of Imperial Bank.
