Ogone, a payments provider subsidiary of Ingenico, has announced the integration of Przelewy24 (P24), a Polish payments method, to its Ogone Payment Platform.
The bank transfer method enables ecommerce’s customers to make online purchases, via computer or mobile, through their online banking service.
Commenting on the announcement, Ludovic Houri, chief sales officer at Ogone, said: "Bank transfer is the most popular form of payment for online shopping in Poland."
Covering 35 banks and representing one of the leading payment methods in the country, Ogone believes the provision of the P24 service will help boost its clients sales in the region.
"Over 80% of all Polish consumers choose this form of payment. Without a doubt the addition of this payment method will help Ogone’s ecommerce customers, selling to the Polish market, increase their conversion rates," added Houri.
