Nordea, one of the largest financial services group in Northern Europe, has chosen mobile payments company iZettle to be its provider of mobile point of sale (mPOS) solutions.

The bank will promote iZettle mPOS products to its small business customers on its website and in its 800 branch offices across Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

Swedish company iZettle was launched in 2011 and now offers products and services in the UK, Spain, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Mexico and Brazil.

It is regulated by Sweden’s Financial Supervisory Authority and is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
