Knet, a provider of electronic banking services to all Kuwaiti banks, has selected POS solutions provider Spire Payments as a key supplier of end-to-end payment solutions.
This strategic partnership will allow Kuwaiti banks to capitalize on the mobile and contactless/NFC (near field communication) technology. It will see the deployment of Spire Payments’ POS solutions across Kuwait.

Spire Payments said that its subsidiary, Spire Payments MEA, has significant capabilities demonstrated by the development of the Knet payment application residing on the POS device.
Additionally, the subsidiary will provide technical support and repairs to Knet in addition to capitalizing on the Spire Payments’s technological innovations.
Spire Payments offers a range of POS devices which are contactless/NFC capable and PCI PTS compliant including the ‘SP’ family, mobile wireless (WiFi and GPRS), retail PIN Pads and mPOS.
