Kuwait Finance House (KFH), a Kuwait-based Islamic banking services provider, has expanded its fleet of satellite-monitored Mobi-Baitak vehicles with the addition of three new vehicles.
The move by KFH is to make its services available to more clients at various locations. The Mobi-Baitak vehicles serve as mobile ATM machines, reported Zawya.
With the addition of three new vehicles, the total number of Mobi-Baitak vehicles with KFH has reached six.
With Mobi-Baitak, customers can avail banking services for 15 hours a day, as the vehicle is available for 15 hours at specific locations including off hours and on holidays.
The vehicle offers services such as cheque books, change of password, and other regular banking services such as cash withdrawal and the deposit of cash and cheques, and balance statements.
Additionally, the number of customers at a vehicle indicates the need for a particular bank to establish a branch or install an ATM machine in that location.
