Canada-based credit union company Meridian has entered into a new long-term agreement under which Cardtronics will continue to provide issuing and acquiring processing services.
The deal covers Meridian’s portfolios of both consumer and business credit and debit cards.

The companies previously partnered in 2006, and this expansion further establishes Cardtronics as ATM managed services provider for Meridian’s complete range of branch and off-premise ATMs.
Meridian senior vice-president and COO Gary Genik said: “A strong sense of partnership has developed between Meridian and Cardtronics as we share a mutual commitment to provide our Members with consistent, reliable and convenient services.
