Founded in 2011 and described as a “WhatsApp for corporates”, MindLink has launched a new software and user interface to enable real time collaboration of information.
MindLink, a Chat Enabled Collaboration (CEC) platform for global enterprises, encourages employees to stay connected with the aim of reducing unnecessary email usage. Harpreet Gosal, CTO of MindLink, comments: “Close to 50% of our annual revenue was invested in developing our new UI using the latest, cutting-edge programming platforms and technology stacks to make sure our application is future and bullet proof. We have increased our engineering capacity by 30%.”
The revamped messaging app, available on both mobile and desktop, allows users to share and retrieve information via chat easily and securely.
Its new interface, released from beta, meets data security requirements and regulatory compliance needs while also maintaining enterprise levels of functionality. Integrated with internal and external systems via bots and connectors, MindLink connects to Unified Communication platforms such as Microsoft Lync and Skype for Business and was voted ‘Collaboration Product of the Year 2016’ by the Computing Vendor Excellence Awards.
Features include customisable sections, one click access to collaboration features, hashtags and mentions for threaded conversations and assignments and a LiveStream.
The interface will include instant messaging, Group Chat, Presence and File Archiving/Sharing. MindLink is planning to include further feature additions on a two weeks release cycle, including Voice.
