US-based start up Mobeam has unveiled its Beep’nGo application, a loyalty and gift card wallet available exclusively to Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 users.

The application which is available to download from the Google Play app store for Android allows customers to keep their loyalty, gift and membership cards in one place.

With Mobeam’s beaming technology, embedded in the smartphone, customers to choose the desired card and press a button to allow the retailer to scan a barcode with laser scanners. The retailer does not have to have to install any new infrastructure.

Kang M. Lee, Mobeam president and CEO, said: "With Beep’nGo, people can easily use their smartphone instead of a plastic card at grocery and department stores, gyms and millions of other retail outlets. Powered by Mobeam, the Beep’nGo application is designed to simplify people’s lives while it saves them time and money."

In March, Mobeam announced the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone as the world’s first mobile device to integrate Mobeam’s light based communications technology.
