German mobile bank N26 has rolled out a new premium debit card aimed at meeting the needs of digital customers.
Dubbed N26 Metal, the new debit card features a metal core made of tungsten, and is equipped with NFC technology for contactless payments.
Based on Mastercard-platform, the new card will be available to bank’s customers in Germany, France, Italy and Austria, starting 14 December. The card will officially be launched in early 2018.
The cardholders can avail dedicated customer service and travel insurance across the globe. The customers will not have to pay any foreign withdrawal fees and good exchange rates, the bank said.
N26founder and CEO Valentin Stalf said: “N26 Metal is more than just a premium banking product, it’s a card for today’s digital lifestyle.
“By partnering with the best brands, we go beyond providing purely financial products and give our customers access to the best products and services in a few taps within the N26 app.”
