Payments firm and Ingenico subsidiary Bambora has joined forces with point of sale (POS) payment gateway technology provider Payworks to launch a new integrated POS solution for software providers and merchants.
The new POS solution, dubbed Bambora Connect, is said to be the first of its kind and leverages the capabilities of both the companies.
It utilises merchant sales expertise of Bambora, while harnessing advanced payment technologies and integration capabilities of Payworks.
The Pan-European solution will work with both mobile as well as stationary card terminals.
It will support Visa, Mastercard, and American Express payments in multiple currencies across Europe including SEK, DKK, NOK, CHF, EUR and GBP.
Bambora Connect is expected to be rolled out at the end of this year. POS solution providers associated with Bambora can integrate the new tool and onboard merchants immediately.
