American payments technology provider NMI has agreed to purchase Creditcall, a UK-based omnichannel payment gateway and EMV solutions provider, for an undisclosed sum.
Creditcall supports EMV chip card, swipe and contactless enabled payment devices. The firm has offices in Bristol, England, as well as in New York.
The deal will result in the creation of an omnichannel payment gateway platform that will support retail, e-commerce, mobile as well as unattended channels.
The merged entity will process over $45bn in payment volume annually, supporting more than 165 processor integrations and over 100 device certifications globally.
In addition, the partners of the two companies will now be allowed to secure all card-present and card-not-present payment technology from one vendor and across a single platform for their merchants.
NMI CEO Roy Banks said: “The need for a single vendor and platform that seamlessly integrates and simplifies the complexities of card-present and card-not-present payments has never been greater, and the combination of NMI and Creditcall will finally deliver a true omnichannel solution.”
