eToro, a Cyprus-based online trading and investing network, plans to introduce a pilot blockchain wallet that will allow customers to hold and exchange multiple cryptocurrency assets in the same wallet.
The new offering will allow users to see all their cryptocurrency assets on the blockchain and exchange those assets across the relevant blockchains.
The project, which was unveiled in association with coloredcoins.org, will allow users to buy different digital assets and register them into the blockchain using coloredcoins.org technology.
eToro co-founder and CEO Yoni Assia said: “Blockchain is the biggest innovation in financial services since the introduction of computers into finance, and has the potential to disrupt how all financial services companies will work in the next 20 years.
“We want to make it easy for people to own, manage and exchange assets on blockchain, that’s what the Blockchain Wallet is all about.”
