Cashless payment solutions firm On Track Innovations (OTI) has entered into a new contract with the Polish National Post Office through its OTI Europa ASEC division over the Smart City card programme in Warsaw, Poland.

Under the deal, OTI Europa ASEC is set to maintain the card programme designed for public transportation.

OTI will deliver payment and software services for 272 Smart City card terminals at 218 post offices in Warsaw, and will be responsible for the complete sales and payment process.

The postal point-of-sale (POS) kiosks have been installed to facilitate purchase or refill of the related public transportation cards at the post office.

OTI Europa ASEC managing director Agnieszka Swiatly said: “Our ticketing sales network in Poland continues to gain traction, which we believe is a strong testament to the value we bring our customers and the citizens of Poland.

“Using our total solution, users of Smart City cards throughout Warsaw will be able to conveniently purchase and refill their cards, even while visiting the post office.”

The contract brings the total number of POS points under OTI Europa ASEC’s network in Poland to 800.
