Payment technology provider Panini has partnered with Matica Technologies to sell its financial instant issuance (FII) solution in North America.
Under the partnership, Panini started selling its Cardmint FX retransfer printer with CardsOnTheSpot personalisation software that will enable financial institutions to create personalised credit, debit, or ATM cards at branch level.
The FII solutions will also allow customers to use an active card for making purchases immediately upon leaving the branch.
Cardmint FX is a dual-sided printer that allows financial institutions to print any image on EMV-compliant magnetic stripe, contact chip, and contactless cards, while Cards On The Spot software offers an integrated browser-based platform to instantly issue multiple printed card types, including ATM, debit and credit, using Cardmint FX printer.
Panini CEO Michael Pratt said: “This partnership with a leading player in the card personalisation technologies landscape is part of our ongoing efforts to deliver hardware, software and services packages that exceed our customers’ expectations and allow Financial Institutions to raise their retail branches’ capabilities to the next level.”
Matica Technologies senior vice president of strategic operations Veraje Anjargolian said: “We are excited about our new partnership with Panini in the North American market.
“Panini’s expertise in the financial market, along with its strong sales organization and VAR network, provides exceptionally high levels of customer service and complements our world-class solutions, which are engineered to support the growing global trends in instant issuance and in-store card issuance.”
